Akusala A. Borniface

Akusala’s key practice area is Litigation and Arbitration. This involves preparation of pleadings, court attendance, drafting legal opinions, interviewing clients, and settling matters outside court. He handles litigation briefs, including Criminal cases, Tax matters, Insurance, Election disputes, Employment matters, Public Interest Litigation, general Civil suits, Family and Children causes.

Furthermore, he has a background on Commercial Law and Conveyancing. Legal Research is also Akusala’s strong area. He has expressed particularly enthusiasm in Constitutional Law, Constitutional Reference and Public Interest Litigation. He has exposed an obvious bias towards Litigation, Constitutional Law and Human Rights issues.

Akusala is the Managing Partner of the Capital Office, and the firm’s Champion of the Litigation and Constitutional Channel.

Managing Partner, Eldoret Office

JANE CHEPTOO MASAI

Jane’s key practice areas are Litigation, Corporate Law and Conveyancing. Her vast experience in Corporate Law and Conveyancing, she deals with registration of Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships sole proprietorships and incorporation of Companies. She also covers drafting of commercial agreements, reviewing and drafting all kinds of Sale Agreements Charges, Leases, Chattel Mortgages, Transfers, Licenses and other security documents.

Jane is well versed in intellectual property law and acts in registration of I.P, opposition and cancellation actions before the Registrar and deals with IP dispute resolutions.

Being the Partner in charge of Human Resource, Jane ensures that the human capital is well harnessed, and the staff are properly trained and motivated to commit to the values and systems of the Firm.

Jane is the Managing Partner of the Eldoret Office, and the firm’s Champion of the Conveyancing and Corporate Briefs Unit.
